Notes on the Environment We Inhabit
Writing About the Environment is a public, semester-long writing project emerging from a class I’m currently teaching in the spring of 2026 at the University of Maryland, College Park. The site features work by my English 398V students, who are taking this advanced writing class offered by the professional writing program here at the college.
This project treats writing as a method of inquiry through the lens of environmental and science writing. Students will submit posts over the spring semester of 2026, and this site will function as a living archive of their writing.
