My name is Mary, and I am a senior at the University of Maryland. I love traveling and have visited six continents so far. I especially enjoy backpacking and hiking, and I previously competed on a marathon team and in ultramarathon races. My goal is to become a psychiatrist, and I hope to begin medical school next year. I am very passionate about mental health and reducing suicide risk factors, which is why I chose to focus my research this semester on the effects of noise pollution on mental health.
